What's new
- Moving a machine for repair works again. Since 7 October, Bypass to move for repair, service mode and Interlock setup could be refused on a machine with no current passing pre-start, which is when they're needed most. PreStartGo now gives the app the machine's key for them again, as it did before 7 October.
- A normal unlock still needs a pre-start. The app still unlocks a machine for work only after a passing pre-start, as before.
Coming in the next app update
- A machine refused online stays refused offline. If PreStartGo refuses a machine's key while the phone has signal, for example because a Fitter has taken the machine out of service, the app no longer unlocks it with the key it saved earlier once the signal drops. It shows "This machine was refused its key. Try again when you're back in signal." The refusal clears when the app next gets the key, or when it syncs and sees the machine back in service.
What changes on release day
- Nothing to do. From release day, the bypass, service mode and Interlock setup get the machine's key whether or not its last pre-start is current.
