How it works
A small Interlock keeps a machine from starting until the operator completes the pre-start on their phone. Every check and defect is recorded and can't be edited afterwards, so you can prove it happened.
A relay fitted by a licensed auto electrician sits in the starter circuit, or the operator-presence circuit where that suits the machine, and holds it open until a completed pre-start unlocks it.
Every check and every defect is written to an append-only record that nobody can edit after the fact. The reports a client, an auditor or the regulator asks for are ready when you need them.
A failed item raises a defect the whole team can see, from the moment it is reported to the moment it is closed. When the failed item is critical, the machine's pre-starts fail until that defect is closed.
A paper checklist can be signed without anyone walking around the machine. Operators scan the GoTag and work through the checklist with photos, and pre-starts keep working with no coverage.

Step by step
A GoTag goes on every machine: a durable label with a QR code and an NFC chip. Add an Interlock to any machine you want held until it has been checked. Your own licensed auto electrician fits it.
A GoTag on its own still gives you pre-starts, without the lockout.

Wired in and out of sight, in the cab or engine bay.
The operator scans the machine's GoTag with their phone, by QR code or NFC tap. That identifies the machine and loads its checklist, so the right machine gets inspected.

The app guides a walk-around. Each item passes, fails or doesn't apply, with photos taken along the way. A typical check takes two to five minutes.
Critical items can't be skipped.
Pre-starts keep working with no coverage.

When the check passes, the app sends a signed Bluetooth command to the Interlock and the machine can be used.
A failed item raises a defect. If the item is critical, or the machine has been taken out of service, the check fails and the machine stays locked.

Every machine. Every check. One place. The result syncs with the operator, time, location, checklist version, defects and photos. With no coverage, it syncs once the phone is back in range.
